Can you think of a time you have used your courage to overcome a problem? Well today Billie uses courage to overcome a boulder blocking his way.
Billie had been walking through the forest for what felt like hours. He was searching for the perfect spot to build his secret hideout, when he came across a cave far off in the distance. He immediately knew that this cave was special, so he decided to investigate further.
As Billie walked into the cave, he noticed something strange: it seemed as though time had stopped inside! Everywhere Billie looked there were old artifacts that appeared to be from all different periods of history- swords and shields from ancient times; pieces of jewelry from medieval times; and even odd gadgets from more recent eras.
He soon discovered that somewhere deep within the caverns lay an incredible power – a fire which could grant him one wish, no matter how big or small. But before Billie could make a wish, he had to overcome one final challenge – a large boulder blocking his path!
Billie tried pushing the boulder with all his might, but it wouldn’t budge. He looked around for something that might help him move the boulder and spotted an old worn-out wand lying nearby. Without hesitation, he picked up the wand and pointed it at the giant rock. Suddenly there was a brilliant flash of light, and in that moment Billie knew what he had to do: believe in himself! As soon as he did this, the boulder slowly began to move aside; revealing an enchanting fire burning brightly in its place.
The magical fire glowed brightly as Billie stepped closer, and he could feel its warmth radiating off of it.
He decided to make a wish that all children, regardless of their age, would be granted courage in difficult circumstances and more confidence when facing challenges. As soon as he said this out loud, the fire seemed to shimmer brighter than ever before!
Billie had done it! He had used his bravery and determination to overcome a problem and release the power of believing in yourself. With this newfound knowledge, Billie was filled with an overwhelming sense of joy knowing that somewhere out there, children everywhere were being granted courage and confidence through his wish. Billie’s eyes became heavy and he was feeling tired, he lay down on the cave floor next to the warmth of the fire surrounding him like soft blanket.
He started to breath, deeply and closed his eyes, he listened to the crackle, crackle of the fire, he breathed in and breathed out, he imagined floating in space and counting the stars with each breath, breathing in and imagining sitting on the point of the star. He imagined a star shaped like his hand with 5 points. He imagined sitting on the star and breathing in as he walked down one side of the star and breathing out as he walked up the to the next point.
As Billie drifted off to sleep, surrounded by the tranquility of the cave, he knew that anything was possible if you just believe in yourself. He also felt safe and secure knowing that no matter what happened during his travels through time, he always had a place to rest his head – inside the mysterious caverns of The Time-Traveler’s Fire!
