Billie Explains Our Atomic Origins

Billie Explains Our Atomic Origins

Hey there, cosmic explorers! Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to hear my stories.

I’m Billie Atoms, an atomic spaceman, and today I’m super excited to tell you all about my amazing journey, which started right at the beginning of the universe!

Are you ready to dive into the fascinating world of atoms, the big bang, and how everything in the cosmos is connected?

Let’s go!

Our story begins about 13.8 billion years ago. That’s right, I’ve been around for an unbelievably long time! But guess what so have you!

You see you are made from Billions of Atoms, and each of these atoms are billions of years old.

It is actually pretty crazy to think that your body is mostly made from 4 elements that are shared among everything and everyone around you, just these four basic elements make up everything.

So, 96 percent of you is made from just four basic particles that have been in existence from the very beginning of the universe 13 billion years ago. They are Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxygen and Hydrogen.

Hydrogen was formed when the universe had cooled enough to allow the matter to stick together which was around 300,000 years after the big bang and the first oxygen formed around 600 million years after this.

Carbon and Nitrogen was formed following the death of low mass stars.

62% of the atoms in your body are hydrogen, carbon accounts for 32% of your mass and Oxygen around 24% with calcium and phosphorous round out the 6 most abundant elements with point 22% each.

I was around to see it all, and I can tell you it was so beautiful to watch our universe come to life. Then along came you, and you made it even more amazing, so thanks for being here.

The universe started with a rapid expansion from a single point, called the point of singularity. Atoms were formed in the cosmic reactions after this.

Some atoms formed right after it while other atoms like carbon were form billions of years later in cycle of stars lifetimes.

They called this event the “Big Bang,” and I was born during this cosmic explosion! Ever since then, I’ve been traveling through the universe, spreading kindness and educating people like you about our atomic connections.

Did you know that we are all connected by atoms? It’s true! Atoms are tiny particles that make up everything you see around you. In fact, the atoms that were once part of me might now be a part of you, and vice versa!

Atoms never age! They are constantly recycled and rearranged to make up all the matter in the universe. So, that means I’m basically the same age as the universe itself.

Everything you see around you is made from recycled atoms that have been in existence for billions of years.

The formation of the universe was truly an amazing event. The more we learn about it, the more we understand our connection to everything and everyone around us.

Before we go, let’s take a moment to relax and feel our connection with the universe. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.

As you exhale, imagine all the tiny atoms that make up your body, and think about how they connect you with the world around you.

Take a few more deep breaths, and when you’re ready, open your eyes, and remember that we are all part of this vast and beautiful cosmos.

It’s time for me to continue my journey, cosmic explorers! Remember, we’re all connected by the atoms that make up our universe. Keep exploring, learning, and spreading kindness wherever you go.

Remember you are part of everything and everyone, we are connected through our atomic connections, be kind to each other, because if you are mean to someone else or hurt someone you are actually hurting part of yourself.
